ART 141, Intro to Graphic Design S1:
This course is an introduction to the principles and elements of graphic design. Students will explore different avenues of visual communication, self-expression, and creative problem-solving through the creation of commercial, interactive, and fine art. Students will engage in the creative process through planning, application, and evaluation of graphic design concepts. ART 142, Intro to Graphic Design S2: This course continues and deepens an introduction to the principles and elements of graphic design. Students will explore different avenues of visual communication, self-expression, and creative problem-solving through the creation of commercial, interactive, and fine art. Students will engage in the creative process through planning, application, and evaluation of graphic design concepts. ART 241, Intermediate Graphic Design S1: This course is a further exploration into visual communication through graphic design. Students will explore different avenues of visual communication, self-expression, and creative problem-solving through the creation of commercial, interactive, and fine art. Students will engaged in the creative process through planning, application, evaluation, and presentation of graphic design concepts. ART 242, Intermediate Graphic Design S2: This course is a deeper exploration into digital imaging and computer-based art. Students will explore different avenues of visual communication, self-expression, and creative problem-solving through the creation of commercial, interactive, and fine art.
